Do you need the perfect ceremony music?

We love being able to play during the ceremony! We do this a little differently than other bands. We like to offer an acoustic guitar and bass duo during the ceremony. This allows for a super flexible song list. We’re easily able to cover traditional hymns and classical pieces (like Canon in D) but our preference is really to play instrumental versions of recognizable songs by the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, and more.  Acoustic versions of these hits add a special sound to your ceremony, keeping things fun and removing the sometimes awkward silence.

Music generally starts 30 minutes before the ceremony starts while guests are being seated. This gives them some interesting background music that isn’t stuffy while remaining classy. Then, we’re on hand for the bridal party entrance, bridal processional, and the recessional. It’s common for the bride and groom to give requests for us to learn for the recessional and processional.

You can check out a quick example video from a recent wedding here: https://youtu.be/aPd0-FHU4g4

Here’s a fun recessional from that same wedding by Mumford and Sons that was a request from the Bride: https://youtu.be/SQ6rnQkQqI0

Because we’re already playing the reception, we’re able to offer ceremony music for much less than if you were to hire a string ensemble. If we’re providing ceremony music, we can also add on a wireless microphone for your officiant and if there are any additional speakers. Contact us if you have any questions or want to learn more!
